Our organization has grown tremendously since its founding in 2001.
Today, we provide academic support to more than 500 students throughout Indianapolis. While “School on Wheels” served us well for the past 20 years, we now need a name that positions us for success in the future—and which captures the full scope of what we do, and why we do it.
We’re not a school, but we often work in schools (and other places, too).
As our programming expanded in recent years to include partnerships with schools, our name became a source of confusion. Our new name better describes what we’ve become: A multi-faceted provider of programs that help children affected by homelessness succeed in school.
