Education Support Coordinator
I am a transformational servant leader in education. I have worked as an ELA and reading remediation classroom teacher, lead teacher, dean of students, and school principal. I have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages, Kinder-collegiate, as well as coaching and training teachers on effectiveness, classroom management, culturally responsive pedagogy, positive school discipline, educational equity, and trauma informed learning approaches and strategies.
I thoroughly enjoy advocating for and serving youth and families, particularly in underrepresented and underserved communities. I believe in meeting them where they are and building them up for the success they deserve and define for themselves.
LaToya is the Education Support Coordinator at Lawrence Central High School and Belzer Middle School.
