Black History Month is a time set aside to showcase the contributions of those who are often overlooked and sometimes forgotten. Brightlane Learning is proud to not only showcase these individuals but to celebrate them for who they are and for their contributions to our community.
Black history is American history, so let’s spend this month expanding our knowledge of the hidden and minimized contributions of Black Americans that have helped shape our nation. Additionally, consider supporting Black businesses, artists, authors, content creators, and others this month and all year long. Only 2.7% of all American businesses are Black-owned, making support for these businesses even more important. I invite you to explore the resources below, seek additional information, and share your learnings with others.
