Let’s Learn Together: Arab American Heritage Month

Arab American Heritage Month became a federally designated observance on April 1, 2022, as a way to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse cultures, history, and contributions of Arab Americans. Arabs began immigrating from the Middle East and North Africa to the United States in the 1800s to escape religious prosecution. Today it is estimated that there are more than 3.7 million Americans with Arab ancestry living in the United States. We invite you to use the resources below to learn more about our Arab neighbors, their diverse cultures, and contributions.
