Indianapolis is filled with organizations working to provide inexpensive or free services to support the academic success and well-being of children throughout the city. Below are a just a few of the many educational and extracurricular resources in our city.

We provide tutoring services in over 30 Indianapolis locations at no cost to students enrolled in Brightlane Learning programs. For families who do not live in shelters or attend schools in which we provide our programs, we have compiled a comprehensive list of alternative tutoring solutions available to parents throughout Indianapolis. Indianapolis Public Schools: IPS is the largest school district in the city and the majority of Brightlane Learning students attend IPS schools. Find school calendars, bus transportation guidelines, and more on the IPS website.

Enroll Indy: This website helps families choose schools that meet their children’s needs by providing a one-stop enrollment process. Check their website for enrollment windows and deadlines.

MCCOY: Marion County Commission on Youth serves as central Indiana’s intermediary youth-services organization. You can find a library of resources and a Youth Activity Directory to help you navigate options for youth activities in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Public Library: Locate a branch near you and explore the resources offered for children and families. The library provides low-cost or free summer and weekend opportunities for entertainment and education.
